He has been working at this hospital since 2014. He pursued advanced studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center, USA from 2012 to 2013. He is a member of the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Tumor MDT Team of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. Research Interests: Precision therapy for hepatobiliary tumors and mechanisms of tumor recurrence and metastasis; mechanisms of liver tissue regeneration and liver function recovery. He has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scholar Program), and participated as a key member in three General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and several provincial research projects. He has published more than ten SCI papers with a total impact factor of approximately 200. He was awarded the First Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (Group Award) in 2019.

He is proficient in the multimodal diagnosis and treatment system for tumors. He specializes in surgical treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors, with a focus on minimally invasive tumor therapies including but not limited to laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, image-guided ablation and digestive endoscopic surgery. He also performs surgery for benign hepatobiliary-pancreatic-splenic diseases such as cholelithiasis, cirrhotic portal hypertension, splenomegaly and hypersplenism, and splenic masses. He adopts multimodal treatment strategies to achieve curative outcomes with minimal trauma.
