Education and Work Experience: He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Guangzhou Medical University in 2009 and his Master’s degree in Surgery from the same university in 2009. He was awarded his Doctoral degree in Surgery from Sun Yat-sen University in 2012, during which he was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council for a joint PhD training programme at Harvard University, USA. Upon graduation in 2012, he has been working in the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has successively served as Resident Physician, Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician, Teaching Block Director and Research Secretary of the General Surgery Division.

Publications: He has published more than 50 SCI papers, including 4 as the first or corresponding author, and nearly 10 Chinese clinical papers as the first author.
