He has been working in the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University since obtaining his doctoral degree in 2012, successively serving as Resident Physician, Attending Physician and Associate Chief Physician. His research focuses on basic and clinical studies for the prevention of recurrence and metastasis of primary liver cancer. He has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scholars and participated in four national and provincial natural science foundation projects. He has published more than ten SCI papers in renowned journals including Cell Death & Differentiation, Advanced Science, Hepatology International, JAMA Surgery and Diagnostics. He was awarded the honorary title of “Good Doctor of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University” in 2025.

He specializes in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of liver tumors, intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct stones, biliary tumors, pancreatic tumors, portal hypertension and splenic tumors. He has extensive experience in the combined application of laparoscopy, choledochoscopy, intraoperative ultrasound and intraoperative ablation for hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders.
