He completed his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees at Sun Yat-sen University and finished standardized residency and subspecialty training in surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. His research is dedicated to reducing postoperative recurrence of liver cancer and lowering perioperative complications. Selected findings have been presented orally at leading international oncology conferences including ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) and ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology), earning international recognition. He has published 11 SCI papers as the first author and presided over 4 provincial and ministerial research projects. He participated in the compilation of Surgery and Huang Jiasi’s Surgery. As a team member, he was awarded the First Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019.

He focuses on the standardized diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant hepatobiliary-pancreatic diseases. He is skilled in laparoscopic, robotic minimally invasive surgery and conventional open surgery. His scope of practice covers: (1) Hepatic diseases: liver cancer, hepatic hemangioma, hepatic cyst, hepatic adenoma, focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH); (2) Biliary diseases: gallstones, cholangiocarcinoma (intrahepatic/hilar/distal common bile duct), gallbladder cancer, bile duct stones, biliary dilatation and choledochal cysts; (3) Pancreatic diseases: pancreatic cancer, pancreatic cystadenoma, solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas, intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the pancreas, etc.
