Work Experience: He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2013. He was once a visiting scholar at the National Cancer Institute, USA, where he conducted research on breast cancer epidemiology and genomics. Since graduating with his doctoral degree in Surgery in 2013, he has been working in the Breast Surgery Department of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, engaged in clinical practice, teaching and research focusing on comprehensive breast cancer treatment, breast reconstruction, breast-conserving surgery and mechanisms of breast cancer drug resistance.

Publications: As of December 2024, he has published more than 20 SCI papers as first/co-first author or corresponding/co-corresponding author in journals including International Journal of Biological Sciences, Cancer Management and Research, Cancer Cell International, Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment, World Journal of Clinical Cases, Cancer Letters, Gland Surgery, The Breast, Cancer Research and Breast Cancer Research and Treatment.

Research Interests: Clinical research: Oncoplastic breast surgery and breast reconstruction.

Specialties:

1. Breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer. He is especially skilled at oncoplastic techniques with volume displacement and replacement to achieve breast conservation for patients who are not eligible for conventional breast-conserving surgery.
2. Breast reconstruction with implants and autologous tissue: (1) Nipple-sparing and skin-sparing mastectomy via small periareolar incision with immediate breast reconstruction; (2) Delayed breast reconstruction for patients who have undergone total mastectomy; (3) Contralateral breast reduction or augmentation to achieve bilateral symmetry; (4) Nipple reconstruction.
3. Multimodality therapy and whole-course management for early and advanced breast cancer, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and endocrine therapy.
4. Follow-up, management and treatment for patients with breast cancer or healthy individuals with a family history of breast cancer.
