Research Interests:

1. Modification and optimization of endovascular techniques; conducting clinical trials of new endovascular devices such as drug‑coated balloons and peripheral stents to evaluate their therapeutic efficacy.
2. Tissue engineering research of novel peripheral vascular stents, designing and fabricating coated stents and establishing evaluation systems for such stents. He participated in and drafted the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Lower Extremity Arteriosclerosis Obliterans and Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Venous Diseases issued by the Vascular Surgery Group, Surgery Branch of Chinese Medical Association.

Specialties: Endovascular minimally invasive and open surgical treatment for vascular disorders, including aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm, lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans, carotid artery stenosis, visceral vascular diseases, deep vein thrombosis and varicose veins.
