Education and Work Experience: He graduated from the Department of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1987 and obtained his master’s degree in Vascular Surgery in 1996. He received training in interventional vascular surgery in the United States, Australia and France in April‑May 2004. From January to March 2007, he undertook advanced training in vascular surgery (open and endovascular procedures) at Private Macquarie Hospital, Newcastle, Australia. He has been engaged in clinical research in the Department of Vascular Surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University since 1991, with abundant clinical experience.
