Research Achievements: He has presided over 2 Youth Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 General Programs of Guangdong Natural Science Foundation and several other provincial research projects. He is a recipient of the Guangzhou Young Talents Support Program for Science and Technology. He has published a total of 28 international SCI papers, among which 20 are as first/co-first author or corresponding/co-corresponding author. Many of these works are published in Q1 journals including Immunity, Nature Communications, Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, Molecular Cell and Cell Reports, and British Journal of Cancer. He serves as reviewer for journals such as Molecular Therapy and Advanced Science.

Research Interests: Minimally invasive surgery and enhanced recovery after surgery for esophageal cancer; multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment centered on minimally invasive surgery for pulmonary nodules and lung cancer; minimally invasive surgery for thymoma and myasthenia gravis; transbronchial magnetic navigation‑guided diagnosis and ablation of pulmonary nodules.

Specialties: Thoracoscopic minimally invasive surgery for pulmonary nodules, lung cancer, esophageal cancer and thymoma. He specializes in transbronchial diagnosis and ablation of pulmonary nodules, and standardized multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment including surgery, immunotherapy and targeted therapy for thoracic tumors such as esophageal cancer and lung cancer. He has long been committed to clinical and translational research on esophageal cancer and lung cancer. He participates in multiple clinical trials of neoadjuvant immunotherapy for lung and esophageal cancer, as well as studies on enhanced recovery interventions after esophagectomy, aiming to improve therapeutic outcomes and postoperative quality of life for patients.
