In recent years, he has actively performed thoracoscopic lobectomy with lymph node dissection, surgical treatment for thymoma and myasthenia gravis, and lung volume reduction for emphysema. He has promoted early detection of small pulmonary nodules, thoracoscopic minimally invasive resection of lung cancer, subxiphoid minimally invasive thymectomy, management of refractory lung cancer and thymoma, and 3D printing correction for pectus excavatum. Research Interests: Early diagnosis of small pulmonary nodules; thoracoscopic minimally invasive resection of lung cancer; minimally invasive treatment of thymoma and myasthenia gravis; treatment of refractory lung cancer and thymoma; 3D printing correction for pectus excavatum.

He has been engaged in cardiothoracic surgery for nearly 25 years with rich clinical experience. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common thoracic diseases, including: (1) video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery; (2) diagnosis, minimally invasive resection, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy for lung cancer, various pulmonary lobectomies, bronchiectasis, pulmonary bullae and spontaneous pneumothorax; (3) surgical and medical management of thymoma and myasthenia gravis; (4) diagnosis, radical resection and chemotherapy for esophageal cancer, esophageal stricture and achalasia; (5) resection of mediastinal tumors; (6) minimally invasive correction of pectus excavatum; (7) minimally invasive lung volume reduction for emphysema; (8) lung transplantation.
