He obtained his doctoral degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2004. From February to June 2010, he pursued advanced training in endourology and microsurgical andrology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, USA. He received high-level training in advanced microsurgical andrological procedures at Weill Cornell Medicine in August 2012 and March 2016. He has served as Associate Chief Physician and Chief Physician at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University since 2004, engaging in urology and andrology for more than 20 years.

Research Interests: Microsurgical andrological surgery and minimally invasive urological surgery. He has presided over one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and seven provincial and ministerial research grants.

Clinical Expertise: He specializes in microsurgical andrological operations including microsurgical denervation of the spermatic cord, microsurgical vasoepididymostomy, microsurgical vasovasostomy and microsurgical varicocelectomy; endoscopic surgery for ejaculatory duct obstruction (transurethral ejaculatory duct incision and seminal vesiculoscopy); and minimally invasive urological procedures (ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, plasmakinetic resection and laparoscopic surgery). He has rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility, erectile dysfunction, chronic testicular pain, urinary calculi and tumors, as well as prostate diseases including chronic prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer.
