He received his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from the First Military Medical University in 2004 and his Doctoral degree in Surgery from the Second Military Medical University. After completing his postdoctoral training, he joined the Department of Urology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, where he has worked ever since. He is an Associate Chief Physician, postdoctoral fellow and Master’s supervisor.

Publications: He has presided over five national, provincial and ministerial research grants. As first or corresponding author, he has published 16 SCI papers in prestigious international journals including Advanced Science, Nano Today and Journal of Urology, with a total impact factor of 95.7 and the highest single impact factor of 20.7. He is the editor-in-chief of two monographs and holds nine patents, including five invention patents.

Research Interests: Innovation of minimally invasive surgical approaches for urinary calculi and technical optimization of single-position percutaneous nephrolithotomy; development and mechanistic investigation of novel nanomedicines for bladder cancer therapy; research on the drug-resistant microenvironment of bladder cancer. His research findings were presented at the 24th, 26th and 27th National Urology Academic Conferences.

He focuses on the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of complex urinary calculi (renal and ureteral stones), renal cysts, urological tumors and benign prostatic hyperplasia. He is proficient in endourological procedures including flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy, transurethral resection of the prostate and bladder tumors, as well as robotic laparoscopic radical resection for adrenal tumors, renal tumors and prostate cancer. He pioneered the minimally invasive multi-endoscopic combined single-position surgery for complex renal calculi and the ultrasound-guided ultra-minimally invasive local anesthesia technique for renal cysts. He also has rich clinical experience in bladder-preserving multidisciplinary comprehensive therapy for bladder cancer.
