He graduated from the Department of Medicine, Hunan Medical University in 1985. In 1987, he pursued his Doctor of Medicine degree at Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences. After obtaining his doctoral degree in 1992, he has been working in the Department of Urology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University ever since, with nearly 40 years of research on urological tumors. He was promoted to Associate Professor and Associate Chief Physician in 1994, and to Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor in 2004.

Publications: He has published nearly 50 papers in domestic and international core journals, including multiple SCI articles.

Monographs: He contributed to monographs such as Urologic Surgery.

Awards & Research Projects: He has presided over and participated in nearly ten research projects funded by the Ministry of Health, Guangdong Science and Technology Commission and municipal science and technology authorities.

Research Interests: Urological tumors.

Clinical Expertise: He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of urological tumors, adrenal lesions, renal tumors, ureteral tumors, prostate cancer and bladder tumors. He is skilled in Da Vinci robot-assisted partial nephrectomy for renal masses, adrenal tumorectomy, radical cystectomy, radical nephrectomy, and radical resection of renal pelvic and ureteral tumors.
