Education and Work Experience: He completed his undergraduate studies in 1982 and subsequently obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees. Since graduation, he has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and research in the Department of Urology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.

Publications: He has published more than 30 papers in professional journals including the Chinese Journal of Urology and Cancer Genetics and Cytogenetics.

Monographs: He has served as editor-in-chief or contributor for eight monographs, such as Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Protocols of Urological Diseases, Clinical Renal Transplantation, Urologic Surgery and Surgery of Andrology.

Research Interests: Urogenital tumors.

Awards: His project “Series of Studies on Improving Patient/Graft Survival after Renal Transplantation” won the Second Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award in 2003.

He has long worked in urological clinical care and accumulated abundant experience in the management of urinary calculi, urogenital tumors, male sexual dysfunction, male infertility, prostate and adrenal diseases. He has conducted in-depth research on immunotherapy, targeted therapy and surgical treatment for renal and bladder tumors, and also carried out extensive studies on the diagnosis and management of adrenal tumors, urinary tract injury and urinary diversion.
