Education and Work Experience: State-sponsored joint-training PhD and postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University; completed undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies at Southern Medical University; postdoctoral training at Sun Yat-sen University; graduate of the Harvard GCSRT Program (Class of 2020, Harvard Scholarship recipient). He worked for many years in the Department of Neurosurgery, General Hospital of Central Theater Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

His main clinical focus is minimally invasive surgery for pituitary tumors and sellar lesions. With over ten years of clinical experience, he is proficient in minimally invasive approaches including endoscopic endonasal surgery, microsurgery, neuronavigation and robot-assisted surgery.

1. Pituitary tumors (core expertise): non-functional pituitary adenomas, prolactinomas, growth hormone-secreting adenomas / acromegaly, ACTH-secreting adenomas / Cushing’s disease, recurrent pituitary adenomas, and emergency management of pituitary apoplexy.
2. Other sellar lesions: Rathke’s cleft cysts, tuberculum sellae meningiomas, craniopharyngiomas, germinomas, etc.
3. Other neurosurgical conditions: meningiomas, gliomas, cavernous hemangiomas, skull defects, etc.

Research Interests: Computational neurosurgery.
