The Clinical Laboratory of the Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University was established in 1952. It is a medical technology department equipped with advanced and comprehensive testing instruments, integrating medical services, teaching, and scientific research. The department is located at the Fengyang Campus and Pujiang Campus of the Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University. The Fengyang Road Campus is located on the fifth floor of Building 9, No. 83 Fengyang Road, Xuhui District (Biochemistry, Immunology, Microbiology Laboratory and Blood Bank) and on the first floor of the outpatient clinic (Blood Collection Room and Clinical Laboratory and Cytology). The Pujiang Campus is located on the second floor of the outpatient building (including all sections). The Clinical Laboratory is designed in accordance with BSL-2 clinical laboratory requirements and is equipped with internationally mainstream testing instruments for biochemistry, immunology, and clinical laboratory specialties, mainly including fully automated biochemical analyzers, fully automated blood cell analyzers, urine sediment analyzers, fully automated coagulation testing systems, fully automated enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay systems, fully automated chemiluminescence detection systems, and fluorescence quantitative nucleic acid amplification instruments, among other large-scale testing and scientific research equipment.
