The Department of Pain Medicine is a comprehensive department integrating clinical practice, scientific research, and teaching. Currently, it has a well-structured talent team and several outstanding experts, equipped with various advanced pain diagnosis and treatment devices. It has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis of chronic pain and minimally invasive interventional treatment, and is highly praised by a large number of patients. The department has three subspecialties: bone and joint pain, neuropathic pain, and cancer pain. It is equipped with various large-scale treatment devices such as color ultrasound, ozone therapy apparatus, low-temperature plasma therapy apparatus, radiofrequency therapy apparatus, shock wave therapy apparatus, PRP dedicated centrifuge, and transforaminal endoscopic surgical system. It adopts methods such as local injection, Huangdi Neizhen, acupotomy, and PRP to manage various pains and intractable diseases, including: spinal-derived diseases, bone and joint diseases, neuralgia, soft tissue diseases, as well as non-painful diseases such as indefinite complaint syndrome, sudden deafness, and gastroparesis; it carries out a variety of advanced minimally invasive interventional surgeries to treat cervical and lumbar spine diseases, neuropathic pain, cancer pain, visceral pain, and vascular ischemic pain. In particular, for analgesia in patients with advanced cancer, relying on the advantages of our hospital's medical consortium and with the help of modern information technology, it jointly manages home-based cancer pain patients with community hospitals, and is highly praised by patients and their families. The Department of Pain Medicine is committed to basic and clinical research on pain. Team members have successively undertaken or participated in multiple national and provincial/ministerial projects such as the "National Natural Science Foundation of China" and the "Capital Health Development Special Project", and have published dozens of papers in SCI journals and domestic journals.
