It has grown into a large regional neurosurgery center integrating clinical care, education, and research, with two wards and 84 beds. In 2021, it was designated as a National Health Commission Neurointervention Construction Center and received a discipline influence nomination in the Fudan University Rankings. In 2023, it was selected as one of the first batch of member units of the "National Clinical Medical Research Sub-center for Neurological Diseases – Brain-Heart Comorbidity Collaborative Group." In 2024, it signed an agreement to become a member unit of the Peking Union Medical College Hospital Neurosurgery Medical Alliance. Also in 2024, it was approved as a Standardized Specialist Training Base by Peking University Health Science Center.
