The Plastic Surgery/Medical Aesthetics Center (referred to as the "Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics Center") is dedicated to precision treatment, integrating a team of experts from leading tertiary hospitals in China to form a safe medical model that combines "pathological treatment, functional reconstruction, and morphological restoration." The center encompasses two major specialties: plastic surgery and medical aesthetics. Key projects in plastic surgery include cleft lip and palate repair and secondary cleft lip-nasal deformity correction, pediatric plastic surgery, craniomaxillofacial deformity reconstruction, traumatic aesthetic repair, wound treatment, ear and nose reconstruction, breast reconstruction, replantation of severed limbs and fingers, and ocular deformity repair. Key projects in the Medical Aesthetics Center include national Level IV aesthetic surgeries, eye plastic surgery, nose plastic surgery, breast plastic surgery, autologous fat grafting, injectable aesthetics, intimate aesthetics, laser wrinkle removal and spot removal, and photoelectric treatments for facial rejuvenation and body reshaping. The Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics Center inherits the strong faculty and solid academic and research achievements of Peking University and the military medical system, while also shouldering the responsibility of promoting the vigorous development of the discipline. It will comprehensively launch a six-tier education and training platform for plastic surgery and aesthetics specialists, including a specialist physician education platform, a graduate education platform, a nursing training platform, a continuing education platform, as well as provincial-municipal, national, and international standard conference exchange platforms. By using standards to drive teaching quality and leveraging capable faculty to drive disciplinary development, it aims to form a disciplinary education system with an international perspective. The Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics Center has a solid theoretical foundation and strong basic skills, providing patients and those seeking beauty with scientific and reliable plastic surgery and aesthetic medical services.
