The Department of Infectious Diseases consists of the Hepatology Clinic, Fever Clinic, Intestinal Clinic, Adult Hepatitis B Vaccination Clinic, and the Infectious Diseases Ward. Among these, the Fever Clinic primarily receives and treats infectious diseases related to fever and provides corresponding diagnosis and treatment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it played a crucial role in epidemic prevention and control. The Intestinal Clinic mainly receives and treats gastrointestinal infectious diseases related to diarrhea. The Adult Hepatitis B Vaccination Clinic primarily undertakes hepatitis B vaccination for populations at high risk of hepatitis B virus infection. The Infectious Diseases Ward mainly admits patients with various infectious diseases and liver diseases, including fever of unknown origin, infections at different sites caused by different pathogens, unexplained liver injury, cirrhosis, liver failure, and various space-occupying liver diseases such as liver abscess, hepatic cyst, hepatic hemangioma, and liver cancer. It is also responsible for providing consultations for both outpatient and inpatient clinical departments, including the rational use of antibiotics, diagnosis and treatment of difficult and critically ill febrile patients, and diagnosis and treatment of patients with liver injury.
