The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is a comprehensive rehabilitation specialty integrating medical care, teaching, and research. It features orthopedic rehabilitation, sports trauma rehabilitation, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and neurological and neurosurgical rehabilitation as its core specialties, while simultaneously developing sub-specialties including critical care rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, oncology rehabilitation, renal rehabilitation, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. It also offers high-end VIP rehabilitation services, forming a disciplinary framework of multi-field, all-round coordinated development. The department was co-established in 2016 with the participation of an expert team from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Peking University Third Hospital. It has steadily developed under the leadership of successive directors including Professor Zhou Mouwang and Professor Gao Qian. Currently, it is led by Director Xu Feng, the discipline leader, who has built a rehabilitation professional team with a well-structured composition and outstanding expertise. The department is equipped with high-quality diagnostic and treatment environments including a spacious and bright sunshine rehabilitation hall and exclusive VIP rehabilitation treatment rooms. Adopting a standardized integrated clinical rehabilitation diagnosis and treatment model and advanced rehabilitation techniques, a multidisciplinary team composed of rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and rehabilitation nurses develops personalized, systematic, and comprehensive rehabilitation treatment plans tailored to each patient, providing high-quality, humanistic rehabilitation medical services.
