Cardiac Surgery is a new-concept integrated department that combines advanced preoperative management, precise surgical treatment, critical care, and cardiac rehabilitation training. It adopts the internationally highly regarded Heart Team model, bringing together experienced surgeons, internists, ultrasound imaging physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and pharmacists to formulate safe and efficient individualized treatment plans for patients. The department's treatment scope covers great vessel surgery, congenital heart disease, complex valvular disease, severe coronary heart disease, and cardiomyopathy. The team fully leverages the hospital's strengths of strong specialty and comprehensive integration, working closely with sister departments through consultation to successfully diagnose and treat patients with complex diseases involving other systems, achieving coordinated cardiac-multi-organ treatment. The surgical treatment population ranges from infants under 1 year old to elderly individuals over 90 years old. It provides high-quality cardiac surgical treatment services for multiple disease types across all age groups.
